Almost forgot to update the cell blog!

Cell this week is at Kembangan, Saturday 1-3pm.

What will we be doing? I haven't quite decided...toying with a few ideas. But we will definitely be celebrating Wei Ping and Ian's birthdays! So bring $2 and come ready to bless them!

Woah! It's Wednesday already?!!

Mei Jiao will be calling you guys up this week to ask if you can go for the One Love BBQ on Friday. If you can....go k? They are extending the invitation to all youths...not just the secondary school students. So go, get to know the other youths in One Love and HAVE FUN!! :)

This Saturday, bring along your Bible and notebooks. Cell will be at Kembangan, 1-3pm.

Games Day

It's GAMES DAY at GIL this week! 1-3pm @ Kembangan.

If you have EVER prepared for icebreaker, but did not get to lead the game because cell started late or there wasn't enough time....(I know there are at least 3 of you out there)...bring the ice-breaker to cell this week.

Also, at the end of cell meeting...we will vote for our FAVOURITE icebreaker of ALL TIME. And the person with the fun-nest & more memorable game GIL has ever played...gets a small prezzie. yay.

Hey GIL... We will not be having cell meeting this Saturday.

Instead, we're going to "ALL FOR ONE LOVE"!

It's at En Community, 7.30pm. 4 Changi South Lane, Nah Wah Building #02-02.

Those who aren't sure how to get there, you can meet the rest of us at one of the following places:

(1) TNC @ 6pm. We'll have dinner near TNC then make our way to En Community.
(2) Aljunied MRT station @ 6.45pm. We can meet on the platform if you're just passing through.

(3) Tanah Merah MRT station @ 7pm. We'll meet in the waiting area.

What was one thing you learnt? It could be something new you never knew...or something that you already do and during the discussion you were affirmed that you're on the right track. Do spend a few minutes thinking about it.

REMEMBER! We'll have a white elephant gift exchange...
(1) prepare a gift. It can be something you received previously but have no use for. If you plan to buy something...make sure it is $5 or LESS. As long as the gift is in good working condition, it is good enough!
(2) wrap up the gift. It doesn't matter what it's wrapped with - newspaper, A4 paper, nice wrapping paper - just get it wrapped before cell!
(3) bring the gift to cell! If you don't bring something, you'll have to sit one side and watch on as the rest of us play the game.

GIL meeting at AMK

If you want something fresh in your Christian walk, you'll have to start thinking about God's Word. That's when God speaks to you directly, not through a pastor or cell leader :) If you want to grow, you must have solid food....else, you will forever remain immature. Remember how we worked through Romans 1:16? Try it for yourself! Come Saturday, we'll be sharing what we learnt!

I would like to start collating all GIL photos so that whenever we need it, we won't be desperately searching for them :)

It's official. We are now an international cell.
Ian is in Europe.
Norman is in Hong Kong.
Samuel Soh is in Australia.
Audrey is somewhere in South East Asia.
Clare (I assume) is somewhere in South East Asia.
Gabriel also in Australia.

The rest of us? We're gonna be at Ang Mo Kio on Saturday, 1-3pm.

IM GONNA UPDATE BLOG AGAIN. sorry but you will have to suffer again. i am forced to update the blog. lydia forced me. *sobbing* she pushed me to a corner and then threatened to punch me in the face, the stomach, the hand, the leg, the toes, the finger, the elbow, the back and many many more places that u would not think can be punched. so i have no choice but to blog.

OUR CELL OUTING. IT WAS SUPER FUN. WE DID FUN STUFFS. DAMN DAMN DAMN FUN. we played frisbee. and erm, captain's ball with football was a whole new exciting experience. we ate sand for lunch. and drink seawater as beverage. call your tour agency today to book a 1DAY SENTOSA GIL PACKAGE with us. birthday celebration and crying kids included^^
